Upper Limb (Parts, Bones, Joints, Muscles, Palpation).
Lower Limb (Parts, Bones, Joints, Muscles, Palpation).
Spine (Parts, Bones, Joints, Muscles, Palpation).
- Diagnosis (Orthopaedic & Musculoskeletal):
Diagnosis of Upper Limb (physical examination & Special test of the AC, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand joints).
Diagnosis of Lower Limb (Physical examination & Special test of the Hip, Knee, Ankle and Foot joints).
Diagnosis of Spine (physical examination, Neurological examination & Special test of the Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar Spine).
- McKenzie Approach (Back & Neck pain management) :
Derangement & its Classification.
Cervical Spine (Retraction, Retraction with self Overpressure, Retraction with therapist Overpressure, Retraction Extension, Retraction Extension with Overpressure, Retraction Extension Rotation, Cervical spine mobilization).
Lumbar Spine (Lying Prone, Extension, Rep Extension, Extension with self overpressure, Extension with therapist overpressure , Extension Mobilization, Rotation mobilization).
- Mulligun Approach (Neck pain Thoracic Pain, Joint pain management) :
Spine (NAGS, Reverse NAGS, SNAGS, MWM, SMWAM, Lion technique).

- Taping Technique (Athletic taping) :

- Neurodynamic (management of neuropathic symptoms eg. Pain, parasthesia, numbness etc) :
Neural Tension test: Ulnar, Median, Radial, Sciatic, Peroneal, Tibial nerves.
Neural Stretching: Ulnar, Median, Radial, Sciatic, Peroneal, Tibial nerves.
Neural Mobilization: Ulnar, Median, Radial, Sciatic, Peroneal, Tibial nerves.
- Dry Needling (Trigger point pain, Myofascial pain management) :
Brief history, Indication, Contra indication, Mechanism of Action, Product introduction, Precaution, Safety & Disposal procedure, Practical Application (Trigger point identification, Trapizeus/ Neck pain, Shoulder pain, Tennis Elbow, De-Quarvain stenosynovitis, Rhomboidus/Thoracic Pain, Multifidus + Long extensors/Back Pain, Sciatica + Piriformis Syndrome/Gluteus pain with lower limb radiculopathy, Hamstring + Quadriceps/Knee pain, Calf/Leg pain, Planter Fasciitis).
- Cyriax Approach (Soft Tissue Management, Spinal & Joint pain / Dysfunction management) :
Soft tissue technique (GTFM, DTFM)
Manipulation (Cervical spine, Thoracic spine, Lumbar spine, Loose body manipulation of the Elbow + Hip + Knee + Ankle Joints). Infiltration (Inflammatory Pain, Soft tissue lesion management) : Introduction, Indication, Contra indication, Products selection, Precaution, Practical application (AC Joint, Shoulder joint, Tennis Elbow Type -2, Tennis Elbow Type -4, De-Quarvain Stenosynovitis, Trigger Thumb/Finger, Knee Joint, Ankle Joint, Planter Fasciitis, Retrocalcaneal Bursitis).
Course Duration: 8 Days (64 Credit hours)
After complete this module participants will be able to diagnosis musculoskeletal and orthopaedic cases. They can implement evidence based physiotherapeutic treatment according to diagnosis. This module is designed to make a physiotherapist to be an MSK specialist.
